Brenda Cowan & Dixie among PTA’s Schools of Excellence
Fayette County Public Schools boasts two of the 2025-27 National PTA Schools of Excellence. Congratulations to Brenda Cowan and Dixie Magnet elementaries, who have built family/school partnerships to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all their students.
In the School of Excellence program, PTAs and schools gather feedback from their communities and use it to build data-driven action plans that improve family engagement and make a lasting difference for every child. A total of 321 PTAs and schools across the country, including six in Kentucky, were the latest to complete the program and earn the two‑year national designation.
